Four classes per month, time will be divided as follows:
Week One: Focus is on-camera 40 minute preparation technique.
Week Two: Focus is prepared sides that are given at least 48 hours prior to your class in a simulated on-camera casting session.
Week Three: Focus is on-camera 40 minute preparation technique.
Week Four: Focus is on business accountability in a supportive environment. Students discuss their current situation in the industry and where they would like to be. Achievable goals will be created and discussed in class and students are encouraged to take planned action steps to take their careers to the next level. We will quite often have guest entertainment professionals sitting in class (managers, social media specialist, entertainment lawyers …) The order of when the guest come in will depend on the schedule of the guest.
This class will periodically be visited by invited guest speakers – including talent managers, agents, attorneys, and other entertainment industry professionals.
The speaker series is intended to provide students with an opportunity to network in a professional capacity, learn some industry insights, and get questions answered.
